Camera detection

These examples demonstrate how Locovision camera detection can be used in your automation scripts.

Blow whistle

A script triggered by vehicle detection. It reads the locomotive address via RailCom and blows its whistle — a simple example of combining camera detection with vehicle control.

Camera shuttle

A shuttle script that uses camera detection instead of track sensors. The train drives forward until the camera detects it at the target position, then stops, reverses, and returns to the starting point.

Script trigger

A script triggered by camera detection of a vehicle. Once the train is detected, it blows the whistle — demonstrating how cameras can replace traditional feedback sensors as script triggers.
